EYEfi field equipment is deployed as an environmentally friendly solution that connects via Telstra's NextG wireless network - specifically designed for rapid deployment into the public domain.

Sensitive to the environment that it protects, EYEfi requires no fixed communications or power infrastructure making it ideal for placement onto existing communications towers or structures, vehicles, trailers or at standalone locations using the EYEfi Green® pole. 

Each installation utilises EYEfi's ultra low-latency NextG™ Remote Gateway Device (RGD) which manages the site equipment and network connectivity. The RGD exchanges real-time spatial video and telemetry information between the remote sites and the core EYEfi® host application in Telstra’s carrier-grade Internet Data Centre facility.

The EYEfi RGD has been developed to minimise latency and maximise performance making it ideal for demanding video applications. As a result, the responsiveness of EYEfi cameras and field devices connected to 3G networks, is second-to-none.

The EYEfi Green® Trailer features GPS tracking, geo-fencing, silent RAPS compliant solar power and fully integrated power management and security features via the sophisticated EYEfi RGD. EYEfi trailers can be effortlessly deployed by one person and setup in a matter of minutes. Ideal for major events, infrastructure projects, emergency and incident response; EYEfi trailers provide a very flexible monitoring solution available for purchase, or hired for a day, a week, a month or longer. 

The EYEfi® Mobile solution is available for installation on almost any vehicle, such as Incident Management or Roadside Assistance vehicles, Tow-Truck or Commercial Fleet operators, Emergency Services vehicles such as the CFA, MFB and Police vehicles. The solution can also be fitted to plant and equipment, or a variety of other mobile devices.

The mobile equipment includes the EYEfi military-grade 360 camera and h.264 encoding, GPS tracking and event/incident recording and audit/log. As with all EYEfi sites, the EYEfi RGD provides maximised continuity of service for mobile vehicles and fleet operators throughout metropolitan, rural and regional areas.
