Provided as a full managed service, EYEfi's core server application has been deployed in Telstra's carrier-grade data centre, enabling access and sharing of field equipment and data between any connected Department or Agency. Using a network hosted application "in the cloud" avoids the need for customers to install and manage CCTV networks, hardware and switching equipment in their premises, requiring only a Telstra IP network connection between the customer network and the Telstra EYEfi Managed IP network.

All EYEfi network infrastructure, data centre application and tools are provided as a fully managed end-to-end service, supported by Telstra and EYEfi Pty Ltd in partnership.

The EYEfi host application is fully integrated with the Victorian Mapping and Address Service, and leverages Microsoft's business-grade Bing maps online - a combination unique to the EYEfi solution, providing relevant and accurate spatial data within EYEfi's intuitive web browser client interface, EYEfi Navigator.

Because the EYEfi® suite is a completely hosted service, it also makes sharing images with authorized 3rd parties very simple, and instantaneous. Organisations that operate in the Emergency Services segment in particular, will understand that you don't always know where or with whom you may have to share images and information, quickly and accurately. The EYEfi® Telstra data centre hosted solution is connected into the Victorian Government TCS network and Telstra Internet Direct - enabling access by any user, anytime, from anywhere.
